PharmaDisc®

PharmaDisc® is an innovative silicone disc device for bulkheads equipped with clamp connections (Mousehole Romynox type) at the ends. Thanks to the design of PharmaDisc®, it is no longer necessary to use a rigid counter ferrule to ensure reliable clamping and sealing.

This device stands out for its ease of use and its ability to be clamped directly onto the clamp ferrule. It is designed to be used with standard or custom single-use assemblies to ensure the safe transfer of liquids between two areas.

Detailed description

PharmaDisc® will simplify life for operators who use tubings to transfer liquids through bulkheads.
No more complex assemblies with clamp seals, counter ferrules, and stainless steel collars that need to be tightened manually without control over the tightening torque. All of these elements often require a high degree of dexterity.
PharmaDisc® is a 2-in-1 clamp seal that ensures the system is leak-proof while integrating the counter-ferrule profile.
It can be mounted on all types of bulkheads using the clamp standard, such as Romynox’s Mousehole or any other equivalent clamp system.
PharmaDisc® has been validated with Ultrapharma’s Pharma-Clamp® collar, which has the dual advantage of being very lightweight with controlled tightening.
PharmaDisc® is integrated into our single-use assemblies for transferring liquids from one area to another.
