Tri-Bond® Clamp Gaskets
Tri-bond® are a unique composition of a flexible elastomer and chemically inert PTFE. The thin PTFE lining on the outside is taking care of the chemical resistance of the gasket while the flexible elastomer inside covers its sealing capabilities. Tri-Bond® are specifically designed to meet critical requirements in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, ultrapure water, WFI (water-for-injection).

The contact surface of Tri-bond® is made of PTFE grafted to an EPDM inner core.
This totally bonded construction provides an exceptionally pure and incredibly flexible seal.
By grafting the elastomer with a layer of PTFE, Tri-bond® will behave like an elastomer but will prevent product contamination, service interruptions and clean-up costs associated with traditional elastomer seals
